When Elf and Father Christmas aren’t busy, they like to play this Memory game. Elf enjoys it so much that he asked me to share it with you too. So, here is how you can get your own free Elf Memory game.
How to get your free Elf Memory game
You’re going to need an adult to help you with this. So, if you’re a little person, please show this to an adult.
For the grown ups reading this, the Elf Memory game is very simple to download and prepare. Just click here to get the download – it is a PDF file.
Once you have the file, it includes all the instructions. But, just so you’re not in for any nasty surprises, this is all you need:
- 8 sheets of A4 white card (or you can use white paper and stick the paper onto some thicker sheets of coloured card if you prefer)
- A printer
- A pair of scissors
You probably played ‘Memory’ in some form when you were young. So, all you need to do is print out the cards I’ve provided, cut them up, and you’re ready to play.
What is Elf Memory?
Elf Memory is a card game. Your pack contains 32 cards (or you can make it 64 if you want more of a challenge!). The cards have 16 different pictures. So, your task is to find matching pairs of cards.
Elf and Father Christmas really love this game because the pictures all come from Elf’s Big Adventure. So, Elf can remember how much fun he had.
I’ve asked Elf what his favourite memories are. He’s not quite sure. He loved sliding down the chimney, so maybe that is his favourite memory. But then, he also had a lot of fun dancing with the angel and the baubles. Not to mention, flying around the world.
So, I think Elf’s Big Adventure just gave him so many happy memories, that it’s too hard to choose.
You can enjoy those memories as well, when you play Elf Memory.
